COMPOUNDING WORKFLOW OVERVIEW AND MANAGEMENT
A PRODUCTION DASHBOARD provides:
- An overview of the IV compounding workflow.
- Access to the lists of preparation orders sorted by priority and their status (new, sent to the device, in process, completed, pending to be verified, released, rejected, etc.). In addition, each list gives access to the details of each preparation order and/or compounding details.
MASTERDATA MANAGEMENT
The CONFIGURATION function of KIRO Link allows:
- To register new drug vials in the drug library.
- To visualize the drug and container library data used in KIRO Oncology for the customer site, including drug and container data received from external software.

ANALYTICS
KIRO Analytics is a digital reporting platform that provides detailed and analytical data of the productivity, efficiency, drugs and containers used, accuracies, users, and production calendar of the KIRO Oncology devices installed at the customer site. Different filters (device, user, drug, container, time frame) allow to search for specific information. Examples of the different functions are explained below:
- My production shows the number of compounded preparations and the percentages of the drugs used for compounding during specific periods of time or daily, monthly, and yearly. Also, the operation times, the overall production, the preparations per hour and the mean delivery time.
- My drugs show the number of preparations compounded with each drug and the container used per drug for specific periods of time, or daily, monthly, and yearly.
- My accuracy provides information of the overall accuracy in the site and the accuracy of the compounded preparations for specific periods of time, or daily, monthly, and yearly. Also, the accuracy per drug, container, and volume.
DIGITAL USER TRAINING
Proper user training is essential to increase productivity, to reduce user errors and to ensure the sterility of the compounded preparations. Grifols standardizes the training of operators using a digital training platform that provides accurate digital training material and video learning. In addition, practical hands on training sessions are planned as part of the user training and qualification program.
